30 days and 30 nights

Yesterday I spoke to my wife about this little web presence. Rather, my total lack of commitment to this web presence. There's a definite pattern. Man blogs, man slacks off on blogging, man returns to blog to blog about slacking on blogging.

We've moved again, this time to a very anti-climatic Central California Coast. Summer here is like, well, it's like fall anywhere else we've been, and winter in some parts of the south. Add to that a month long stay in a hotel before our house is ready and so far it hasn't made for the best change of climate from sunny SoCal.

At least the traffic is... well, there isn't any. At least there's that.

Our new Gym.

We have begun training at CrossFit Monterey with Jacob and Ryan. Since we've got plenty of free time here thus far we joined their Olympic Weightlifting team (Monterey Bay Barbell Club), which has led to long training sessions, quick PRs and lots of snatch jokes.

They are even moving into a new, larger space at the end of the month, just about the same time we get into our house and set up the garage gym.

Status of things.

That about sums up where we are at today. I'll post about our Olympic Weightlifting progression later this week. Until then I'm enjoying leave, lifting and the love of my life. Here's to hoping she doesn't murder me in the next 12 days.
